Hill's reserves the right to withdraw products referred to on the Hill’s Pet Nutrition SA Facebook Page or other members of the Hill's group of related companies and to change this legal statement at any time, without notice.

Hill's takes care to respect the privacy of its on-line visitors.  Our privacy policy is outlined below.  As the technology of the Internet changes, this policy may also change.  Any change will be promptly reported in these pages.

CONSENT WITH PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

I hereby voluntarily give my consent to the processing of my personal data in the following extent: (i) name, (ii) surname, (iii) e-mail address, (iv) videos, photos and/or images and (v) location (“Personal Data”) for the period of 5 (five) years to Hill's. as a controller of my Personal data and to other members of the Hill's group of related companies, in particular by collecting of the data, data storing, selecting and saving by usage of manual and automatic means.

The consent to the processing of my Personal Data may be revoked by me at any time upon a written notification delivered to Hill’s.  I have the right to request information on processing of my Personal Data and Hill’s shall provide me with such information without undue delay.

Hill’s acknowledges that it is bound by applicable law to keep personal information confidential and to protect such information, and it is committed to conducting its business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition Top Fans Donation Give-away (the “Competition”)

Prize terms & conditions

1. This Competition starts 5 April 2019 and ends 31 December 2019 (“the Competition Period”)
2. The Competition is open to residents of the Republic of South Africa and Namibia over the age of 18 years old. Employees of Hill’s, its affiliates and any of the agencies or companies associated with this Competition, including their immediate families may upload testimonials but are not eligible for prizes.
3. You can gain an entry into the Competition (“Participant”) every time you comment on the respective Facebook Top Fans post with the correct answer and the name of the charity you would like to nominate.
4. The prizes are as follows:
5. Monthly prizes: 10 x winners will get to choose one registered NPO animal welfare organization, to which Hill’s will donate up to 250kg of Hill’s food on the winner’s behalf. Each winner will also receive a Hill’s gift voucher for 1 x bag of Hill’s food up to 12kg.
6. Prize winners will be selected by Hill’s as follows, for the duration of the Competition Period:

NPO food allocation & gift voucher give-away: On the last working day of each month, Hill’s will randomly select 10 x winners from the bank of entries at that date, under independent supervision.  Participants cannot win more than one monthly prize. Should the bank of entries not have enough eligible entries, Hill’s will only select winners from the eligible entries and the balance of the prizes will become null and void.
8. Winner notification and timings:
9. The monthly prize winners will be notified by a Hill's representative via email, phone or Facebook within 10 working days from the date of draw. Winners will need to respond to Hill’s within 15 calendar days to claim their prize.  If a prize is not claimed, Hill’s will draw a new prize winner.  If the second winner does not claim their prize within the stipulated time, the prize becomes null and void.  Should Hill’s be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, Hill’s reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.  Please note the timing of the delivery of NPO’s prize is dependent on availability and will be communicated directly to the winning charity.  The food allocated to the NPO is at Hill’s Pet Nutrition SA’s discretion. Please allow up to 20 (twenty) working days for delivery of gift vouchers once the winners’ details have been confirmed.
10. All prizes are not transferrable and no cash alternative is offered.
11. Hill’s reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.
12. In the event of a dispute, Hill’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Any tax liability arising from this competition will be the responsibility of the relevant winners.
14. Hill’s is entitled to institute any reasonable security measures to ensure that the rules are adhered to. Hill’s reserves the right to delete duplicate and fraudulent entries, as well as disqualify participants if we suspect any activity not deemed within the spirit of the Competition has taken place.
15. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any factor(s) beyond the reasonable control of Hill’s, Hill’s reserves the right and the sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by the law to disqualify any entrant or winner and/or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition as appropriate.
16. Hill’s reserves the right to alter, cancel or delay this Competition without notice.
17. This competition is not administered by Facebook and is solely administered by Hill’s Pet Nutrition South Africa.
18. Participants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions.
